The Lululemon resale guide (2026 edition)
Best styles, cost basis ranges, sell-through by color, what fakes look like, where to source. 47 sold comps analyzed.
Lululemon is one of the most reliable flips in 2026. Strong brand recognition, a dedicated resale community, and prices that hold up surprisingly well after wear.
But not all Lulu sells equally. Here’s what I’ve learned from 47 sold comps over the last 90 days.
What actually sells
Define crops are the gold standard. The black or core color version, size 6 or 8, NWT or like-new, sells 85% of the time at $48–$65 net. The cropped lengths are the move — long versions sit longer.
Wunder Trains in solid colors clear 70% sell-through. Light wear is fine if the pilling is minimal. Avoid faded blacks (they look “drab” to buyers).
Define jackets are the highest-margin Lulu item. NWT they pull $95–$120 used. Older models with the simpler logo (pre-2018) get a vintage bump from collectors.
What doesn’t sell
Yoga mats — saturated. Don’t buy.
Limited prints — the market is volatile. A $40 thrift find could sit for 6 months OR clear in 3 days. Hard to predict without watching specific drop releases.
Men’s — runs slower than women’s. Buy only at $5–$10 cost basis.
Spotting fakes
Real Lulu has:
- Embossed (raised) logo, not printed
- A dot inside the “U” of “Lululemon” on the inner waistband
- Care tag with style code (always present)
- Reverse-side seam matching the front
Fakes typically miss the embossed logo first. If the logo is flat, walk.
Where to source
Estate sales > Buffalo Exchange > Goodwill > Salvation Army (in that order, in my experience). Estate sales often have multiple new-with-tags items at a single visit. Goodwill has volume but worse pricing.
The math
| Item | Cost basis | Net (after fees) | Days to sell |
|---|---|---|---|
| Define Crop NWT | $4–$6 | $52 | 3–5 |
| Wunder Train Solid | $6–$10 | $34 | 7–10 |
| Define Jacket NWT | $8–$15 | $84 | 4–7 |
| Limited Print | varies | varies | 30+ |
Watchlist Lulu in Fownd. Set sell-through threshold at 65%. Hunt accordingly.
